Montclair Boonton Line Suspended Due To Downed Trees

Breaking: Cross honoring with private and NJT busses is in effect.

BOONTON, NJ — The Montclair Boonton line has been suspended following Tuesday evening's thunderstorms, New Jersey Transit said.

The line was suspended around 6:30 p.m., and remains suspended due to debris on the tracks near Little Falls. A photo posted to their official Twitter account shows a large tree across the tracks resting on power lines.

New Jersey Transit bus and private carriers are cross honoring, but travelers should expect delays of up to 30 minutes if they leave from the Port Authority. Shuttle busses will be provided between Walnut Street and Denville stations.
