Morris Clerk's Office Employee, Morristown Grandmother Dies at 91

Ann Tremallo watched as the county seat changed over nearly a century, but she was also part of that history.
The retired Morris County Clerkās Office employee died at her home last week at the age of 91.
Tremallo graduated Morristown High School in 1941 and married her late husband, Louis, in 1946. They were married for 45 years before Louis died in 1991.

Tremallo retired at age 90 from her post at the clerkās office, and served for many years as a recording secretary of the Northern Chapter of the 112th Field Artillery Association based out of the Morristown Armory.
Tremallo was also honored with the Molly Pitcher Award for her service to the 112th, and was a dedicated alumnus of Morristown High School.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, Aug. 12 at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Assumption in Morristown, with interment to follow at Holy Rood Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11 at Doyle Funeral Home on Maple Avenue in Morristown.
Memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
