Morris County Puppy Of The Week: Meet Jagger

This rescue pup loves to explore his home of Morristown!

MORRISTOWN, NJ— Lots of pet parents emailed to tell us what made their puppy the ultimate Good Boy or Girl. Although every dog is a great dog, here's this week's Morris County Puppy Of The Week:

Meet Jagger! This is what makes Morristown's Jagger such a good boy, according to dad Stephen:

Jagger came to owners Stephen & Ingrid of Morristown when he was just under 3 months old through Home for Good Dogs Rescue in Berkeley Heights - he was picked up at a shelter for homeless dogs in Georgia at just 2 months old and slowly made his way north to New Jersey looking for a good family.
He's super well mannered, very playful, loves to chase and bring back his ball, and he's friends with everyone he comes into contact with. This smart lab/shepherd mix loves his walks around Morristown, anything to do with water and he's a total foodie which puts him in good company given all the restaurants Morristown has to offer.
Despite not having been in any one location more than 5 days in a row for his first few months of life he has settled in nicely with his owners and is genuinely friendly, fun, and affectionate - what more could you want in a puppy of the week!

Think your puppy is Puppy of the Week worthy? Send a picture and paragraph telling us why to katie.kausch@patch.com. Have a non-puppy pet you want to show off? Send them over too!
