Morris County's First Wegmans Opens This Weekend

HANOVER, NJ — It's almost here: Morris County's very first Wegmans opens this Sunday, July 23.

The Hanover store, located at 34 Sylvan Way (near the intersection of 287 and Route 10), is 113,00 square feet. It'll officially open for business at 7 a.m. this Sunday morning. Regular hours are 6 a.m. to midnight daily.

It will feature a Burger Bar restaurant, pizzeria, bakery, and other ready-to-go food options, as well as a catering department. Wegmans will also have a pharmacy, floral, wine, and sub shops, and will have a Redbox DVD rental kiosk.

This is the store's seventh New Jersey location. Before this location, interested shoppers had to trek to Woodbridge.

Ahead of their opening, Wegmans has partnered with the local Interfaith Food Pantry to donate 8,700 pounds of food during the summer, when supplies generally run low.

Wegmans is still looking to add new members to their team, including cashiers, food handlers and customer service positions. Find more information about jobs here.
