Morris Plains Man Hospitalized In PA Crash That Killed 3

Three New Jersey residents died, but police have not publicly identified them.

LAKE HARMONY, PA — A Morris Plains man was hospitalized after a crash that killed three New Jersey residents Saturday night in Pennsylvania. Police have not publicly identified the deceased victims by name.

A 25-year-old South Amboy man and a 30-year-old Parlin man died in the two-car accident, while a 31-year-old Bayonne man died at the hospital from his injuries. All three were passengers in the vehicle of Bryan Nissen, of Morris Plains.

Nissen, 30, was driving north around 8 p.m. on Route 903 and attempted to make a left turn onto Route 476 north, State Police said.

The other vehicle — driven by a Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, resident — traveled south on Route 903 in the left lane, police said. Nissen's vehicle pulled in front of theirs, according to authorities.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital. Their conditions weren't immediately clear.
