Morris School District Had Most Alcohol, Drug Incidents In Morris
The Morris School District reported having more drug and alcohol related incidents than any other Morris County school district.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Morris School Districted reported the highest number of drug and alcohol related incidents last year, according to new information released by the state Department of Education.
The data is released annually, and tallies how many incidents happen in each school district. The data released this month is for the 2016-2017 school year.
There were a total of 42 drug or alcohol related incidents in the county last school year. That's up from the 2015-2016 school year, when the district reported 38.

Other schools in the county had far fewer incidents, with several reporting none. The district with the second highest number was Morris Hills Regional, with 24.
The state Department of Education has cautioned that these numbers are reported by each district, so each jurisdiction is responsible for reporting its results fairly and accurately. But they are required by law to report them.
