Morristown-Beard Ranked #1 in NJ for Athletes
Morristown-Beard rated 29th nationally for athletics according to report

Morristown-Beard School is the top-rated private high school in New Jersey for athletes according to the 2018 Niche best school rankings released on February 6th. MBS also ranked 29th in the nation for athletes according to the study.
The study is compiled mainly through data from the U.S. Department of Education and millions of questionnaire reviews by students and parents from New Jersey and states across the nation, according to Niche.com’s website. The largest factors in producing the sports rankings are input from parent and student surveys on sports, followed by total high school enrollment, the number of sports offered, and participation in sports, according to the website.
“I am very proud of our athletic department and the entire Morristown-Beard School community for our #1 ranking among private schools in New Jersey,” said MBS Athletic Director Joanne Dzama. “At MBS, athletics is an integral part of the life of the School, and we encourage all students to try out for a team, whether they are an accomplished athlete or new to a sport. Our goal is to support all of our student-athletes who have an interest in participating. Our program is not only inclusive, but also excellent, vying consistently for conference and state titles and sending multiple athletes to NCAA Division I programs each year.”
