Computer Solutions Warns Of Internet Shut Down From Virus

Ates Yegen, owner of Morristown Computer Solutions and Randolph Computer Solutions, is warning customers of a computer virus that is set to attack on Monday, July 9 and might leave many people without internet service for the day.

In an email to Patch, Yegen explained: "Most victims don't even know their computers have been infected, although the malicious software probably has slowed their online surfing and disabled their antivirus software, making their machines more vulnerable to other problems."

Yegen has set up a web site to check for the DNSChanger virus.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is also reporting that the DNSChanger malware may effect computers on July 9. For more information, see the FBI website.
