Morristown Opens Cooling Centers at Town Hall and Fire House

Morristown opened it’s cooling centers at the Morristown Town Hall Senior Center and the Morristown Fire House.

When the temperature reaches above 90 degrees, Morristown opens their cooling centers.

The cooling center at the town hall is located at 200 South Street. It’s open Thursday, Friday, and Monday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

At the fire house on 161 Speedwell Avenue, the cooling center will be opening 24/7 Thursday through Monday at 8 p.m.

Morristown reminds residents to stay cool in high temperatures by staying out of the sun, avoiding strenuous activity outside, wearing lightweight clothing, and drinking a lot of water.
