Morristown Fall Fest On The Green Coming Up This Weekend

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Morristown's annual Fall Festival On The Green is back again for 2017, and should be better than ever this year. Coming up this Sunday (Sept. 24), the festival is fun for the whole family. It's rain or shine and runs from noon to 5 p.m. on the Green and surrounding streets. Here's everything you need to know about the fest:

Food

Food will be available from a variety of local vendors. New for this year is a beer tasting tent for adult attendees (you can buy tickets either in advance or at the door).

Entertainment

Attendees can check out symphony bands, rock bands, the New York Red Bulls Street Team and more. Entertainment will be on four different stages, as well as bouncy houses for kids, and roaming entertainers.

Parking:

• Ann/Bank Street Garage between Bank Street and Schuyler Place
• Dalton Parking Garage with entrance on Cattano Avenue
• DeHart Street Garage with entrances on DeHart Street and Maple Ave.
• Free Street Parking

Road Closures:

• Speedwell Avenue: Closed to through traffic at Spring Street and closed to the Morristown Green at Cattano Avenue.
• Morris Street: Closed to the Morristown Green at Spring Street.
• South Street: Closed to the Morristown Green at DeHart Street beginning at 7pm. South Street will close at Community place beginning at12am.
• Washington Street: Closed to the Morristown Green at Schuyler Place beginning at 7pm. Washington Street will close at Court Street beginning at 12am.
• Market Street: Closed to the Morristown Green at Maple Avenue.
• Dumont Place: Closed at entrance to Morristown Parking Authority Lot 10J.
• Water Street: Closed to through traffic. Access to Headquarters Plaza parking deck will remain open.
