Morristown Gallery Wants To Put Your Photos of American History on Display

Call to artists seeks patriotic theme.

When 70 South Gallery opened in Morristown, replacing the generations-old Sandrian Camera, the ownership said the business was going to be for the people, by the people.

It’s living up to its promise as the gallery seeks submissions in a call to artists for a unique July 4-focused exhibit.

“We envision this show bringing together the work of photographers with a passion for patriotic and history-capturing art,” said Ira Black, the gallery’s Artist Relations Manager. “Ideally, we will be able to feature these iconic moments in America’s history and display them for all to enjoy around a holiday that gives people license to stop and appreciate our history and accomplishments.”
