Morristown High Alum, Longtime Resident Dies at 93

Ursula Lanza worked for Star Ledger for 29 years.

She was affectionately known as Lee Lee.

Ursula Lanza died on May 28 at the age of 93, according to her obituary.

The longtime Morristown resident graduated as a Colonial in 1939 and was a member of the Morristown High School Alumni Association.

She was employed at the Star Ledger in the accounting department for 29 years before retiring in 1992, and worked for Standard Concrete for 21 years before that.

She is survived by a sister, brother, and 11 nieces and nephews.

Arrangements have been made by Doyle Funeral Home on Maple Avenue in Morristown, with a Mass of Christian Burial set for St. Virgil’s Church in Morris Plains on Tuesday, June 2 at 10:30 a.m.
