Morristown Hires New Administrator for $160K

Jillian Barrick is bringing some lengthy experience in municipal administration with her to Morristown.

According to morristowngreen.com, the Perth Amboy administrator of the last two years was hired after a vote by the town council and will be the first woman to hold the position in Morristown.

Barrick will take her post Oct. 12, the report said, and bested approximately 20 candidates who applied for the job.

Barrick was a city administrator for four years in East Orange, her hometown, before her two-year stint in Perth Amboy, the report said.
