Morristown To Host Freeholders Change Time Of Monday, Dec. 23 Meeting

The Morris County Board of Freeholders is announcing a change in the schedule and time of its Monday, Dec. 23 work session and public meeting, consolidating the two sessions into one public meeting that will be held at 4:30 p.m. in the county Administration and Records Building in Morristown.

At the Dec. 23 work session, the board will honor retiring Morris County Library Director Susan Calantone, while the Freeholders and Sheriff James M. Gannon will present county resolutions to five of the Sheriff’s Hope One mobile addictions program partners to thank them for their efforts.

The honorees are the Center for Addiction Recovery, Education and Success (CARES); Mental Health Association of Essex and Morris, Morris County Prevention Is Key, Daytop-NJ, and Family Promise of Morris County.

The Board of Freeholders meets twice monthly, at 7 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, at the County Administration and Records Building in Morristown. The public can comment at those meetings.
