Morristown Man Accused of Kicking Pregnant Woman in Stomach During Domestic Dispute

A Morristown man is being held on $75,000 bail with a 10-percent option after being charged with aggravated assault of a pregnant woman.

According to nj.com, Rodney Harris kicked a pregnant woman in the stomach, sat on her chest, and hit her in the head several times during an altercation on Sunday. The victim also suffered a four-inch bruise on her shoulder, cut on the lower lip, and an additional bruise on her back, the report said.

Harris previously punctured the alleged victim’s eardrum as well, the report said.

In addition to being lodged in jail, Harris faces a temporary restraining order in connection to the alleged incident, the report said.
