Robert Kaminski was rear-ended while riding on a Jet Ski-type personal watercraft.

TOMS RIVER, NJ — A Morristown man was killed Saturday in a personal watercraft accident in the Barnegat Bay, state police said.
Robert Kaminski, 62, of Morristown, died at the scene, Sgt. Jeffrey Flynn, a spokesman for the New Jersey State Police, said Monday.
The accident happened near the base of the J. Stanley Tunney Bridge that carries Route 37 from Seaside Heights to Toms River and was reported at 3:03 p.m., Flynn said.

Kaminski was riding a Sea Doo personal watercraft in the area when his craft was hit from behind by a Sea Doo driven by Francis Pietrowski, 35, of Sussex, Flynn said, ejecting Kaminski from his craft. He suffered multiple injuries, Flynn said.
Family members say Kaminski had a heart attack and his watercraft stopped in the water immediately before the impact. That information was not immediately confirmed by state police.
