Morristown Mayor Launches Re-Election Campaign
Mayor Timothy Dougherty is seeking a third term in office.

MORRISTOWN, NJ— With the 2016 election season barely behind us, local politicians are looking forward toward the 2017 election cycle. Current Morristown Mayor Timothy Dougherty is one of them, officially announcing a re-election bid Monday morning.
Alongside Senator Corey Booker, Dougherty announced his campaign at a local restaurant.
"I am as excited about the future of our town as I have ever been. When I think about the last 7 years and the positive things we have accomplished, I can only imagine what the next four will bring," Dougherty said.
