Morristown Nonprofit's Thrift Store To Host Designer Event

Shoppers can expect brands including Coach, Gucci, Chanel, Ray Ban, and more at the fundraising sale.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Morristown shoppers will have a chance to browse designer labels this weekend at the Market Street Mission Thrift Store’s annual Designer Event.

The event is scheduled for this Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Market Street Mission Thrift Store, 25 George Street in Morristown.

Organizers said the event will feature new and used clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry, and accessories.

The store said shoppers can expect brands including Coach, Gucci, Chanel, Anthropologie, Tiffany & Co., Ray-Ban, Athleta, Madewell, Aritzia, and Lululemon, along with other labels.

According to the announcement, proceeds from thrift store sales support Market Street Mission programs and services. Those services include free community meals, overnight shelter, and addiction recovery for neighbors in need.

"Shop designer brands at unbeatable prices, all while supporting local neighbors in need... Come see what treasures you can find, where your shopping saves lives!”

Residents interested in attending can visit the thrift store during event hours on either day. Based on the announcement, the two-day event will center on discounted designer merchandise, with proceeds tied to the mission’s meal, shelter, and recovery programs.
