Morristown Opens Wallet, Fills Belly For Local Businesses
A new Facebook group is encouraging residents to get take-out twice a week.
MORRISTOWN, NJ - As the restrictions to Morristown's expansive bevy of businesses hit due to the outbreak of novel coronavirus, or COVID-19, Morristown resident Jeff Haag came up with a plan and a social media push to help.

The numerous restaurants that we all go to and enjoy when there is not a pandemic will certainly be stressed during this time period. I was thinking that maybe we should identify two days a week where people who are financially able order out," Haag said on the Morristown Order Out Twice a Week Stimulus Plan Facebook page.

Haag said the goal is to pump some money into the restaurant community in Morristown.
"Many places that do not normally deliver are now making it available and most places are offering curbside pick up," he said.
