Morristown Parking Garages Free of Charge to Residents During Storm

Proof of residency good for free use at four locations through 9 a.m. Friday.

Here we snow again.

As the week wears on the potential for a major, late winter snowstorm continues to grow, as forecasts show an increasing snow accumulation set to wallop the area between Wednesday and Thursday.

With that comes the need to keep the roadways clear, and the Morristown Parking Authority, along with the town, are again joining forces to help residents keep their cars in public garages and off the streets.

Four parking garages in town are currently open to the public and will be available for free until 9 a.m. on Friday, March 6. Residents will need to show a driver’s license as proof of Morristown residency upon leaving the garage and have their parking fee waived. Regular daily parking fees will apply to anyone who does not remove his or her vehicle before 9 a.m. on March 6.
