Morristown Police Spread Holiday Cheer At Children's Hospital
Last week members of the Bureau of Police delivered some special bear buddies at the Morristown Medical Center.
MORRISTOWN, NJ - Last week members of the Bureau of Police paid a special visit to Goryeb Children's Hospital to spread a little cheer.
According to officials, this group of Santa’s helpers had the opportunity to meet some amazing children, each of whom was given a Morristown Police Teddy Bear as a way of helping them feel better.
This initiative, organized and supported by the Morristown PBA Local 43, was a way for members to show that they were thinking of those who might rather be home this holiday season, officials said.

As they were limited in the number of helpers who could walk through the Children's Hospital, many of the employees sent their photos from the Police Station to show their support.
"We were also reminded of the truly amazing work that is done right here in our backyard every day," Morristown PBA Local 43 posted to social media. "From the child-life teams that helped organize this initiative to the dedicated medical professionals that care for our kids, the incredible selfless work being done by every member of the AHS team was obvious and we were thrilled to be able to lend our support for a few hours."
