Morristown resident, Reena Shah, joins Brach Eichler

Brach Eichler has announced the addition of three new associates to the firm; Nicole G. Medrozo and Reena Shah have joined the firm in its health law practice, and Nicole M. Sciotto has joined Brach Eichler’s business transactions and financial services group.

Medrozo joins Brach Eichler from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, where she most recently served as associate vice president and deputy chief of enterprise risk and compliance. At Brach Eichler, Medrozo will focus her practice on healthcare law, representing various healthcare providers in corporate transactions and compliance matters. She joined the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, as a director and healthcare compliance attorney, and served as an assistant prosecutor with the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office. Medrozo was a law clerk for The Honorable Bette U. Uhrmacher in the Criminal Division of Superior Court of New Jersey, Monmouth Vicinage. She earned a J.D. from Pennsylvania State University - The Dickinson School of Law, a mini MBA from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, and a B.A. in political science from Rutgers University. She is member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, the American Health Lawyers Association, the Asian Pacific American Lawyers Association, and the National Association of College and University Attorneys. She is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.

Shah joins Brach Eichler from Camacho Mauro Mulholland, LLP in New York City, where she was a partner. At Brach Eichler, she will focus her practice on representing health care providers, including physicians, medical practices, hospitals and ambulatory care facilities involved in civil litigation and administrative actions pertaining to fraud allegations, reimbursement issues, and contract disputes. Shah previous served as a law clerk for The Honorable Jessica R. Mayer of the New Jersey Superior Court, Civil Division, in New Brunswick, NJ, and was a research analyst/associate for the Corporate Executive Board. She earned a J.D. from University of Maryland School of Law and a B.A. in international Studies from Johns Hopkins University. Admitted to practice in New Jersey, New York and Maryland, Shah resides in Hoboken, NJ.

Sciotto joins the firm from Mason, Griffin & Pierson, P.C., in Princeton, NJ. At Brach Eichler, she will focus her practice on commercial lending, commercial leasing and corporate transactional work. She previously held a position with the Delaware Court of Chancery in Wilmington, DE, where she was a judicial intern for Vice Chancellor Donald F. Parsons, Jr. (retired). Sciotto earned a J.D. with honors from Delaware Law School at Widener University, where she was editor in chief of the Delaware Journal of Corporate Law, and earned a B.A. in journalism from Pennsylvania State University, University Park. Admitted to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, she resides in Morristown, NJ.
