Morristown Restaurant Week Returns: See Participating Eateries

MORRISTOWN, NJ — "The most delicious week of the year" is returning to Morristown, and plenty of local eateries are prepared to show hungry participants what they have to offer.

Morristown Restaurant Week will return on Monday for its 16th year. The event is organized by the Morristown Partnership and is meant to showcase eateries and their menus in the restaurant-dense town.

"From international flair to American classic, Morristown offers a variety of dining options for families, date nights, business occasions, and so much more," a statement read. "In addition to special menus and dining deals, Morristown Restaurant Week boasts special events at many of its restaurants, including wine pairings, tasting menus, and special entertainment."

The event is split between two days, and two groups of restaurants. The Speedwell Ave. Snack, Sip, and Stroll will take place on Monday from 6 to 10 p.m., and the Morris Street Snack, Sip, and Stroll will be on Wednesday from 6 to 10 p.m.

Each event costs $85 per person. See participating restaurants in the two tours below:

• 1776 Morristown will offer French cut chicken breast: Celery root purée, baby spring vegetables, au jus (Nut and gluten-free), and a sampling of its new Spring Cocktail: Faded Glory - knob creek bourbon, pamplemousse, lemon, amaro Montenegro

Morris Street

• End of Elm will offer a choice of drink: EoE Margarita or Poire it Up, or wine/beer; and a choice of food: Shrimp Tostones or Tinga Tacos
• TOWN bar + kitchen will offer Lumpia, Cacio E Pepe, and Zeppoles served with Juggernaut Sauvignon Blanc
• NOM Mexican Table & Tequila Bar will offer Chips & Salsa, Blue Corn Crunch Wrap and Churros served with a NOM Margarita
• The Morris Proper will offer a Proper Meatball with ricotta, basil, and focaccia, and new YU cocktail (Bourbon, amaro, yuzu, basil)

Snack, Sip, and Stroll participants should meet at the Morristown Partnership office building on 14 Maple Avenue at 6 p.m. to pick up their wristbands and parking vouchers. Tickets to these strolls are available online here.

Dozens of other restaurants will be participating in Morristown Restaurant Week, and diners should keep an eye out for window decals and posters at participating businesses.

Among participating restaurants is The Office, located at 3 South Street, which will be offering deals on slider trios and beer flights.

Gift Certificate Giveaway

Morristown residents and visitors now have a chance to win gift certificates throughout April as the Morristown Partnership rolls out a monthlong giveaway tied to Morristown Restaurant Week. The Morristown Partnership Gift Certificate Giveaway, sponsored by Morristown Airport, began on Wednesday, April 1.

The promotion is open to all entrants. Each week, five winners will be announced on social media and will receive $100 in Morristown Partnership Gift Certificates, along with varying bonus gift certificates from Morristown businesses, according to organizers.

Winners will be selected at random from social media posts that meet the entry requirements outlined by the Morristown Partnership.

Here are the entry instructions:

1. DINE in or take out at a Morristown restaurant, or purchase items from a Morristown food establishment – all Morristown locations are eligible (hold onto your proof of purchase)
2. POST a picture of your meal or food item – same week of purchase only – on Facebook and/or Instagram (story and/or feed posts accepted)
3. TAG or mention the business where the meal or food item photo was taken, and tag the Morristown Partnership on Facebook @MorristownPartnership or Instagram @downtownMorristown

At the end of the month, one entrant will be selected at random from all eligible entries submitted during April to receive $500 in Morristown Partnership Gift Certificates, according to the announcement.
