Morristown Roadway To Close For Excavation Project: See Details
Drivers are being told to use alternate routes during excavation tied to the new facility.
MORRISTOWN, NJ ā Schuyler Place in Morristown will be temporarily closed on Monday from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. for excavation work tied to the ongoing Morris County Courthouse project.
The closure is planned to allow crews to excavate the roadway, complete sanitary connections, and prepare for a water service connection for the new courthouse facility. Motorists are advised to plan alternate routes during the work.
Businesses along Schuyler Place, including Kirshenbaum Baking Co., will remain open during the closure. Access to the Administration & Records Building parking garage will remain available from Ann Street onto Schuyler Place. Police will direct traffic at that entrance, and drivers will be able to make either a right or left turn from Ann Street.

Access to the Schuyler Place parking garage will continue through Bank Street.
The closure is part of infrastructure work supporting the new courthouse facility in Morristown. No additional timetable for related road work was included in the announcement.
