Morristown Rotary Club Celebrates 105th Annual Installation Dinner, Welcoming New Leadership and Honoring Exceptional Community Service

MORRISTOWN, NJ — On June 24, 2026, the Rotary Club of Morristown gathered at The Morristown Club to celebrate its 105th Annual Installation Dinner. The event marked the official transition into the 2026–2027 Rotary year under the enduring global motto, "Service Above Self".

The evening brought together dedicated community leaders, members, and guests to reflect on a stellar year of local impact and to inaugurate the incoming leadership team that will guide the club's charitable initiatives through the coming year.

Outgoing President Aaron Oliver formally handed the leadership reins to Will Draper, who will serve as the club’s President for the 2026–2027 term. In his inaugural remarks, President Draper shared his vision for expanding local service projects and strengthening fellowship within the historic club.

Celebrating Exemplary Service & New Fellowship

A cornerstone of the evening was honoring individual club members who went above and beyond to make a difference over the past year.

Steve Ellerman was named Rotarian of the Year (2025-2026) and honored with a "Service Above Self" Award for his outstanding leadership and dedication to Rotary’s Four-Way Test.

Scott Marum was presented with the prestigious "Service Above Self" Award by outgoing President Aaron Oliver, recognizing his exemplary commitment to the club's core mission.

The club also looked toward its future growth by officially swearing in its newest Rotarian, Joe Kaiser, welcoming him into a global network of changemakers.
