Japanese Knotweed is a persistent, fast-growing plant that can often not be destroyed with herbicides alone. The Shade Tree Commission will train volunteers on proper removal strategies.

If you're interested in participating, meet them Aug. 15 at the parking lot next to the playground. Wear gloves and work-ready shoes. Bring loppers or clippers if you have them.
