Morristown St. Patrick's Day Parade 2017: What You Need To Know

What you need to know about this weekend's parade in Morristown.

MORRISTOWN, NJ— Morris County's 38th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade is coming up this weekend, and you won't want to miss it.

The parade kicks off at noon on Saturday, March 11 but pre-parade festivities will begin at 10:15 at the Presbyterian Church of Morristown on East Park Place. Pre-festivities include music, dance, a brief educational talk, and remarks by Mayor Doherty. You can check out a full schedule here.

A pre-parade Mass is held at Assumption Church at 10:00 AM, celebrating St. patrick.

The parade begins at noon at the Town Hall, and will travel down South Street, ending at the Morristown High School parking lot. There are plenty of handicapped accessible seating areas, which you can find on this map here.

Alcohol is strictly forbidden, and the day is family friendly. Although the event is rain or shine, it has been scheduled before in the case of extreme weather.
