Morristown Teen Goes for Moon Walk at NASA Space Camp

Like many teens, Madeline Hoffman spends some of her time up in the clouds.

But it’s not what you think; they’re different clouds.

Hoffman recently took part in the annual NASA Space Camp event through Honeywell, where she was one of about 300 students from 39 countries and 27 United States and territories.

Students at the space camp are accepted via scholarship and have the opportunity to use interactive technology and meet former astronauts, along with design, build, and test their own rockets. Students also have the chance to participate in simulated astronaut training, shuttle missions, and a moon walk.
