Morristown's Burnham Pool Looks To Open June 27
The Recreation Department is hard at work making all the necessary preparations, officials said.
MORRISTOWN, NJ - Morristown's Burnham Pool is looking to open June 27 now that Gov. Phil Murphy has eased his COVID-19 restrictions, according to officials.
"We are very excited to announce we will be opening Burnham Pool this summer and are grateful to see the ongoing enthusiasm from the community as phone calls and emails continue to roll in each day," officials said in a statement.
Registration is open now in Community Pass. The Recreation Department is hard at work making all the necessary preparations to optimize safety and public health including:

- pool inspections
- staff training
- all changes related to COVID-19, including newly required signage and other protocols
Due to these extensive preparations, the current anticipated opening date of Saturday, June 27, which is subject to change and will be finalized in the next week, officials said.
The finalized opening date, along with the details of all new policies, will be emailed to all members, and posted on the website.
