Mother's Day Rose Delivery for Front-Line Health Workers

Law Firm Lyons & Associates and House of Blooms Delivered 200 Flowers to Morristown Medical Center, RWJ University Hospital to Say Thank You

The tender loving care we associate with moms can also apply to nurses and other front-line health workers, especially during the pandemic. For Mother’s Day, Lyons and Associates, a family law firm with offices in Somerville and Morristown, N.J., arranged delivery of 200 individually-wrapped roses to RWJ University Hospital Somerset in Somerville and Morristown Medical Center. Theresa Lyons, principal, said the roses were distributed to nurses and other staff in the hospitals’ Intensive Care Units, COVID units and other departments to thank them for their efforts during the holiday weekend. Each rose bore a quote from Hippocrates: “Wherever the art of medicine is loved, there also is a love of humanity." The roses came from House of Blooms in Raritan. And no, the flowers weren’t reserved just for mothers, but were shared with others who needed a ray of sunshine as well.
