New Jersey may have been in a slide economically, and numerous credit downgrades, an unpopular governor and ever-increasing taxes haven't made things easier for the state's often put-upon residents.

But there is a lot of opportunity out there, and we've broken it down county by county.

Choose New Jersey, a non-profit economic development group, has listed the largest employers in each county. Patch did the research, and every one of these employers has a job listing on Linkedin and Indeed.com, with opportunities available for 2017.

They're not just the big corporations and pharmaceutical giants that New Jersey is famous for, either. There are plenty of supermarkets, hospitals and even amusement parks that are on the list (just keep in mind that amusement parks typically are only open in the summer).
