New Local Company That Encourages More LEGO Building, Without the Clutter and Commitment, Launches Today

BrickPiggy, a new LEGO rental service, is launching today at brickpiggy.com.

Kids love to play with LEGOs, but this comes with a price. If you are a parent who is tired of cleaning a playroom overrun with loose pieces, constantly looking for space in your house to store large building sets, and completely over-spending on sets your kids will eventually grow out of and forget about, a solution is coming your way. BrickPiggy, a new LEGO rental service, is launching today at brickpiggy.com. BrickPiggy was created by Gretchen Cotnoir and Julia Giordano, two local business women and moms of LEGO enthusiasts.

Based on more building fun and less clutter, BrickPiggy allows subscribers to choose various service options to rent LEGO sets for their child tailored to their building level skills and interests.

You can choose as many themes as your child is interested in and set your own delivery frequency. A set will arrive on your timetable ready to surprise and excite your child. Let them build it for up to 30 days, then take it apart and send it back. If they love it, you can always purchase it from BrickPiggy.

About BrickPiggy:

BrickPiggy was started by Gretchen Cotnoir and Julia Giordano when they wanted to continue to encourage their children to build and be creative, but they were tired of the clutter, and the amount of money spent on new LEGO sets. The name BrickPiggy alludes to the old story, “The 3 Little Pigs” and the 3rd pig who built his house of bricks. Pigs are smart and inherently clean – two qualities they want to promote. With their backgrounds in operations, strategy, and marketing, the two set off to provide more options for kids to increase their opportunities to build, learn, and grow with LEGOs.
