New Pilates Studio, Sauna Opens In Downtown Morristown

MORRISTOWN, NJ — A brand new health and wellness studio has officially opened its doors in Morristown.

This week, the town welcomed SWTHZ and STRONG, located at 70 Speedwell Avenue.

The new workout studio with an attached wellness studio had an official ribbon-cutting ceremony earlier this week, with Morristown officials welcoming the establishment with excitement.

“Morristown continues to welcome new wellness-focused businesses to town,” a statement read. “The celebration welcomed residents, local business owners, and community partners for an afternoon focused on wellness, recovery, and movement. Guests had the opportunity to explore SWTHZ’s luxury private contrast therapy suites featuring infrared sauna, cold plunge, and vitamin C showers, as well as meet the team behind STRONG Pilates and sign up to try a class.”

STRONG offers full-body workouts that blend pilates, strength and cardio – high intensity, low impact. The establishment features exclusive machines including the Rowformer, a reformer with a rower attached, and the Rideformer, a reformer with a bike attached.

There are several class options to choose from, as well as lockers, showers, change rooms and washrooms.

“From the trainers to the lighting and music, every element has been crafted to give you a well-rounded workout that actually fits your life,” STRONG’s website reads. “Expect a premium experience to match – including our signature cold towels soaked in eucalyptus oil post-workout.”

SWTHZ, pronounced sweathouse, is just next to the workout facility. It offers several pre and post workout facilities including private infrared sauna and cold plunge suites designed to “reset your body and mind.”

The facility also offers its EGO beauty bar, allowing guests to “freshen up, reset, and step back out into the day feeling polished, restored, and ready for whatever’s next.”

“A modern luxury wellness studio specializing in contrast therapy, where private 60-minute sessions alternate between infrared sauna and cold plunge to help the body recover, reset, and recharge,” it’s website description reads.
