Morris Museum presents new exhibition opening March 27. 2016 through August 28, 2016
Drawing from the Morris Museum’s worldwide collection of 2,000 sand samples, this exhibition delves into the structure and color of sand, as well as the science of beaches and the effect that currents have on climate. Special attention is given to the unique Jersey Shore environment. Discover the answers to question like: What role do shells and coral play in the beach environment? and Why are coral reefs a key indicator in an ocean’s health? Examine coral and sea shells, and be inspired to study and care for the world’s oceans.
Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00AM to 5:00PM. Sunday, 12:00PM to 5:00PM.
