Oktoberfest Returns After 3 Years To Greater Morristown

Kick off fall with this fun celebration featuring local bands, food, beer vendors, and more.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Celebrate the start of fall with friends at Hillside Hose Company's annual Oktoberfest event.

The anticipated community event is back after a three-year hiatus and will take place on Saturday, Oct. 1. "The volunteers at Hillside Firehouse can't wait to celebrate the return of our favorite annual event with our community," officials said.

Held at the Hillside Firehouse, located at 132 Western Avenue in Morristown, this fun-filled day will feature quality beer, great music, German food, raffles, merchandise and more.

The event begins at 2 p.m. on Oct. 1 and will end at 8 p.m., officials said.

Oktoberfest is open to residents of all ages, and families are encouraged to attend.

Hillside Hose Company No. 1 was founded in 1914 by local citizens and now serves as Station 3 of the Morris Township Fire Department. They are one of five stations that make up the Morris Township Fire Department.
