During his three-year service as The Presbyterian Church in Morristown’s first organ scholar, Ryan Kennedy accompanied choir rehearsals, played during worship and provided lectures, offering insight into the development and use of the organ historically and in worship. During his tenure at PCM, Ryan also held recitals at Juilliard, the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, St. Thomas Church, and other venues throughout the US and Europe. He participated in the 2015 All-Bach recital at St. Peter’s Church, broadcast world-wide from New York. Ryan is one of five competitors in the International Longwood Organ Competition this June.
