Overdosing Man Saved In Morris Twp
Police say they acted quickly to reverse the affects of an opioid overdose.

MORRIS TWP, NJ — Police saved a man from overdosing in Morris Township early Friday morning, police said.
Around 3 a.m. police were called to a home to help a man who was having difficulty breathing. According to police, by the time they got there the man was not consciousness, was not breathing properly and had pinpoint pupils.
Police gave the man a dose of Narcan and he regained consciousness. The Morris Minute Men and Medic Unit arrived and took him to the hospital.

"Chief Mark DiCarlo would like to personally thank Ptl. Pinheiro, Ptl. Yarzab and Ptl. Hough for assessing the situation so quickly upon arrival and saving the victim’s life by administering NARCAN," police said.
