Pair of Morristown Businesses Unite Against Drunk Driving

According to President Nicholas Kraus, Kraus Marketing of Morristown cares about the safety of their employees and their community.  Because they do, they are partnering with StearClear of Morris County to provide their employees with preferred access to StearClear’s designated driving service.

 “As a new business in Morristown, we are very excited to partner with StearClear, another Morristown business,” Kraus said. “This alliance will permit our employees to use StearClear services for their professional or personal use at discounted rates.  As an employer, it gives us peace of mind knowing that our employees need not risk their own safety, the safety of their loved ones or the safety of members of the Morristown community by driving while impaired.”

StearClear of Morris County, which is headquartered in Morristown, provides a designated driver service that drives members and their cars home safely in the event “socializing” has left their normal driving skills impaired.

 “Through this corporate membership, Kraus Marketing employees who pre-register with us can schedule a driver and a ride home either before or while they are out,” said Joshua Heffler, StearClear of Morris County franchise owner. “Our service is unlike a taxi service in that they will be driven home in their own vehicles so they don’t have the headache and inconvenience of going back the next day to get their cars.”

 Heffler explained that to assure a StearClear team is available when they need one, rides can be scheduled days in advance or up to 9:30 pm on the night that they will need the service. When they schedule a ride, they can select a pickup time that is convenient.

Then, at the scheduled pick up time, a drive team of two people arrives at the agreed-upon location; one drives the member home in their car while the other follows to pick up the first driver and transport him or her to the next assignment.

The mileage and ride cost is automatically calculated prior to placing an order so the member knows exactly how much they’ll be charged.
