Paper-Shredding Event To Take Place In Morristown

Proceeds will support the Morristown High School Students Kiwanis Scholarship Fund.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Need a safe, secure way of destroying confidential documents? Morristown is holding a paper-shredding event from 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 2 in the Town Hall parking lot, off Franklin Street.

Bring your documents in either paper bags or cardboard boxes weighing no more than 10 pounds. Shredding is limited to confidential and sensitive materials only. The town says to recycle all other paper. No binders or magazines.

Although the event is scheduled for noon, the town says you should plan to arrive early because it will end before then.

The event costs $5 per bag or box. Proceeds support the Morristown High School Students Kiwanis Scholarship Fund.
