Parking Garages Open, Free to Morristown Residents During Weekend Storm

Morristown could see five to eight inches of snow during the weekend.

As the season’s largest storm approaches northern New Jersey, the town of Morristown, in conjunction with the Morristown Parking Authority, has announced the opening of parking garages over the weekend free of charge to residents.

Resident may begin parking in garages on Friday, Jan. 23 at 5 p.m. and stay there until Monday, Jan. 26 at 9 a.m.

The garages that will be opened are:

  • Dalton Parking Garage (Cattano Avenue)
  • Ann/Bank Parking Garage
  • DeHart Garage
  • Vail Parking Deck (Access from South Street)

Any vehicles moved after the removal date and time will be subject to parking fees. Anyone parking at the garage will need to show a valid driver’s license as proof of Morristown residency upon leaving the garage to have the parking fee waived.

Winter Storm “Iola” is expected to dump anywhere between five and eight inches of snow Friday night into Saturday. See more here.
