Pennies for Peace Fundraiser Planned

Learn about The Montessori Children's Academy's "Pennies for Peace" program.

An announcement from The Montessori Children’s Academy:

On Saturday, December 12th, Kindergarten students from The Montessori Children’s Academy will be stationed in front of Café Beethoven located at 262 Main Street in Chatham, NJ from 9:30-11:30AM to share information about their participation in the “Pennies for Peace” program.

Children from The Montessori Children’s Academy, ages 2 ½ through six grade have joined hands with tens of thousands of other school children around the world who share the vision and dedication to empower communities in remote areas of Central Asia through education. Since starting this project at the beginning of the school year, the children have collected over 5000 pennies which equates to ten desks and more than 500 pencils for children in need.

We invite you to stop by on December 12th to meet some of our Kindergarteners and learn how they are making a positive difference in the world. Come hear how they are growing in their sense of responsibility as citizens of a global community, and bring your pennies to support this worthy cause.
