Power Outages, Road Closures In Greater Morristown Area
Breaking: Multiple roads are closed in the area because of the nor'easter.

MORRIS, NJ — As a nor'easter makes its way through northern New Jersey, multiple roads are closed and hundreds of homes are without power in the greater Morristown area.
Woodland Ave is closed in the area of Symor Drive, Morris Twp police said. Mendham Road is closed near Kahdena Road, and near Old Mendham Road. Multiple side roads in the area are also closed, and police say closure reports are continuing to come in.
"High gusting winds have resulted in multiple trees down across roadways in Morristown and Morris Township. Everyone is urged to stay home unless travel is absolutely necessary so that utility crews and public safety officials can attend to calls for service. Anyone who must travel is asked to exercise extreme caution until this weather event is over," Morristown Police said.
