Preschool Advantage Welcomes Matt Mirett to Board of Directors

MORRISTOWN, NJ October 19, 2018 — Preschool Advantage, a Morristown-based non-profit organization, recently welcomed Matt Mirett as a Trustee to its Board of Directors.

Mirett, an attorney with Sherman Wells Sylvester & Stamelman LLP in Florham Park, practicing in the Banking and Financial Services group, is excited to join Preschool Advantage, “As a resident of Morristown, and working in Florham Park, I have become very aware of the needs of my local community, and have sought out ways to help. I hope to bring new ideas and a fresh perspective to a wonderful organization.” As a father of two young sons who attend preschool at Temple B’nai Or in Morristown, Mirett understands first hand the importance of early education.

Mirett graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and Fordham Law School, starting his career at Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson LLP, a large Wall Street law firm, before moving to his current position. He lives with his family in Morristown, and in his spare time enjoys spending time with his wife and sons, playing softball and golf, and following the New York Mets.

Preschool Advantage is a non-profit organization with the vision that all children should have access to high quality early education. Since its inception over 20 years ago, almost 1,500 tuitions have been paid, and it is the organization’s goal to fund 100 tuitions each year by the year 2019.
