Public Bidding On Morris County Contracts Regarding Coronavirus

If bidders or respondents choose to attend, they are required to be screened by the county's security staff.

In accordance with the Governor’s most recent Executive Orders regarding COVID-19 and social distancing requirements, Morris County requests that bidders and respondents for county government contracts consider not attending upcoming bid openings in person at the county government complex in Morristown.

If bidders or respondents choose to attend, they are required to be screened by the county’s security staff. If they show any signs of illness, they will not be permitted access to the building.

Due to the circumstances, during the bid opening process, a bid review and providing of unit prices will not take place at the openings. Instead, this information will be posted online once available.

Bidders and respondents are encouraged to MAIL in bids and responses. If any must be hand delivered, the county has a drop box located in the lobby of the Administration and Records Building, 10 Court Street, in Morristown.
