Revolution Can Stay Open Until 2 A.M. In Morristown, Judge Says

A local rule ordered an early closing for the bar, but a judge overturned that, according to a report.

MORRISTOWN, NJ — Morristown's Revolution bar can stay open until 2 a.m. a judge ruled, overturning an a requirement established by the town.

The bar, owned by the same man who owns Iron Bar, was forced to close by 11:30 p.m. on the weekends, Morristown Green reported. Council members said the regulations were meant to target loud bar patrons.

Revolution was the only bar on the block forced to close before state-mandated last call at 2 a.m. A judge overturned the order, saying it was discriminatory and arbitrary.
