Riker Danzig Partner Elected to American Bar Foundation

Morristown, NJ (May 30, 2017) - Riker Danzig Scherer Hyland & Perretti LLP is pleased to announce that Samuel P. Moulthrop, head of the firm’s White Collar Criminal Defense Group and partner in the firm’s Environmental Litigation Group, has been elected to the prestigious American Bar Foundation, an honorary organization of attorneys, judges, law faculty and legal scholars whose public and private careers have demonstrated outstanding dedication to the welfare of their communities and to the highest principles of the legal profession. Members are nominated by their peers, and membership is limited to one percent of lawyers licensed to practice in each jurisdiction.

Moulthrop has extensive experience assisting clients with government enforcement and compliance issues involving potential criminal charges. He also regularly manages complex federal and state court litigation on behalf of corporations, and their officers and directors. Before joining the firm, Moulthrop served in the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of New Jersey. In that office, he served as Assistant U.S. Attorney, Chief of the Criminal Division, Chief of the Appeals Division, Deputy Chief of the Fraud and Public Protection Division, and Chief of the Environmental Section.

Justice Stewart Pollock, Of Counsel in the firm, is also a member of the American Bar Foundation.
