MORRISTOWN, NJ — Motorists are being urged to avoid Washington Street between Conklin Avenue and Mills Street, due to a planned paving project.

The Southeast Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority is carrying out the work, which will last until Friday, Aug. 19.

According to officials, the roadway will be affected between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., and motorists should expect detours, road closures and limited access to some facilities.
