Sixth Annual Touchdown for Success to Unite NFL Alumni and Students with Special Needs
NFL Alumni Work with Children and Teens with Multiple Learning Disabilities at NJ Special Education School for Children with Special Needs

(WHIPPANY, NJ) -- The Calais Foundation is proud to announce its Sixth Annual Touchdown for Success Student Field Day at The Calais School on Wednesday June 14th, 2017. Touchdown for Success provides up to 100 students with multiple learning disabilities the have fun, get fit, interact with NFL stars, and learn about health, fitness, teamwork, education, and self-confidence.
Keynote Speaker Stephen Baker, “The Touchdown Maker,” former NY Giant and Super Bowl Champion will join Gridiron Institute founder Damian Gregory, formerly of the Detroit Lions and President Emeritus of The Calais Foundation to lead the interactive, day-long program. Touchdown for Success Student Field Day includes NFL-style drills, a nutritious lunch, motivational message, and gaming stations provided by Microsoft. Students interact with NFL stars and Microsoft volunteers, who have provided a gaming tent for the event the past three years. Most importantly, students will be coached on the importance of self-esteem, education, and living a healthy lifestyle.
Touchdown for Success Student Field Day 2017 is sponsored by The Calais Foundation with support from Microsoft, Nike Factory Outlets (Newark, NJ), Acai Ya Later (Hoboken, NJ), Cullari Carrico, Partlow Insurance, Tarpey Group, and the Merck Foundation Partnership for Giving.
