Snow And Freezing Rain To Hit Morris County This Morning

MORRISTOWN, NJ— You might want to consider staying inside today: a hazardous weather outlook has been issued for Morris County.

Snow and freezing rain are expected to hit the county, particularly the western area. The possibility of ice has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a hazardous weather advisory.

The day will start off with snow, with some towns getting as much as two inches.

By mid morning, the winter wonderland will become an ice town as the rising temperatures turns the snow into sleet and freezing rain.

Drivers should be cautious, as roads might ice over.

The weather should clear up by nightfall, but you can expect more snow on Friday and Saturday nights.
