South Street Toastmasters Invites All To November 17, 2016 Meeting
Toastmasters - A peer based nonprofit that helps individuals develop their communication & leadership skills. Networking opportunities too.
South Street Toastmasters, “Where Leaders Are Made” (www.sstm.info), invites residents and area employees to visit their club and learn how the Toastmasters International program can help individuals develop and improve their communication, leadership and active listening skills. The next meeting is on November 17, 2016. The meetings are held from Noon to 1PM at the Morris County Library, 30 East Hanover Avenue, Room 133, Whippany. Advanced reservations are not required and there is no charge to attend the meeting as a guest.
The theme for the November 17, 2016 is Gratitude. The meeting will include two prepared speeches as well as Table Topics. Table Topics is impromptu speaking, a skill that is needed in meetings, interviews, networking events and social occasions.
South Street Toastmasters is part of Toastmasters International which is a worldwide nonprofit educational organization that empowers individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders. The membership of South Street Toastmasters is diverse and is made up of people who live or work in the area. Members are employed in a variety of fields. Some members are native English speakers. For others, English is their second language. South Street Toastmasters meets at the Morris County Library the first and third Thursdays of each month from Noon to 1PM. Guests are always welcome.
